Internship Position Description:
The Malibu Group, a growing financial solutions provider with expertise in strategy, corporate culture and M&A in the Cincinnati area, is seeking a summer intern. The internship will include exposure to real-world investment banking. The intern will perform market analyses, financial analyses, private equity surveys, prepare marketing presentations, disclosure documents, and memorandums. Intern will also have exposure to our executive staff, clients, and business partners. The Malibu Group offers a comprehensive internship program including a structured work plan, evaluation and feedback process.
Eligibility requirements:
- Candidate must be a college student or recent graduate in a business/finance related field of study.
- Candidate must have completed his/her sophomore year; completion of junior year is preferred.
- Candidate must be available for a 12-14 week internship.
- Candidate must be interested in pursuing a career in an M&A related field.
Ideal candidate will possess:
- Significant experience and understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience with Microsoft Access, Publisher, and other software is helpful
- Experience with Microsoft CRM is extremely helpful
- Ability to distill information and write professional reports for senior management and clients
- Precise attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently
- Ability to work with strong and varied personalities
- Positive attitude and high energy
- Desire to learn and contribute
