Andy Sathe Joins The Malibu Group

Blue Ash—Local mergers and acquisitions consulting firm The Malibu Group has added Andy Sathe to its staff. The Blue Ash-based company helps owners of mid-size businesses buy, sell, value and improve the financial strategies of their organizations.

Sathe joins the firm as a principal and brings his transaction and finance experience to the group, which includes experts in a variety of M&A related areas.

Prior to joining the Malibu Group, he was Financial Project Manager for Corporex, the Covington, Ky.-based real estate development firm. While there, he negotiated bank loans, raised equity for development projects, developed business opportunities along Mississippi's Gulf Coast and pioneered inventive financing structures including the fusion of Tax Exempt "GO Zone" bonds and New Markets Tax Credits.

A native Cincinnatian, Sathe is a graduate of St. Xavier High School and holds a business degree from the University of Notre Dame. In addition, he earned an MBA from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business. He lives in Newport, Ky.
