Cincinnati—The Malibu Group advised ITI TranscenData in its recent acquisition of Proficiency, the leader in feature-based CAD data translation software. Malibu worked closely with ITI management as they evaluated the opportunity, formulated their offer and negotiated final terms and conditions.
International TechneGroup Incorporated (ITI) was founded in 1983 and is headquartered in Milford, Ohio. ITI TranscenData is the product data interoperability business within ITI.
The acquisition of Proficiency by ITI extends its interoperability capabilities and strengthens ITI’s overall focus of product development productivity, according to its Chairman and CEO Mike Lemon.
In addition, the transaction combines two of the largest names in CAD Data Interoperability into one. “This is an exciting milestone for our company,” said ITI TranscenData President Don Hemmelgarn. “We now provide the most comprehensive suite of solutions in the Product Data Interoperability industry.”
