Cincinnati -- The Malibu Group recently advised Shepherd Chemical Company in selling a non-core Shepherd business line specializing in pelletizing of chemical compounds.
Malibu advised the Management team as they determined whether they should retain the business line, as they calculated highest and best use it was determined that the sale was the best option. Malibu lead the search, advised and managed the process and helped complete the transaction with a Strategic Buyer.
Head in Cincinnati, Shepherd is a leading supplier of specialty metal based chemicals to the global marketplace. Through world class R&D and propriety processes they are able to custom develop and manufacture complex carboxylates, precipitates and organometallic compounds.
