
Rick Maier brings long-time banking experience and expertise to The Malibu Group. He is a former senior vice president of LaSalle Bank, where he served for more than 20 years in roles which included chief financial officer, acquisition finance structuring and origination, and most recently regional manager of the Bank’s Cincinnati office, which he helped establish in 2001.
Rick has achieved regional recognition for his immense skill and understanding of management accounting, financial planning and the mergers and acquisitions process. His experience in performing due diligence, conducting negotiations and managing acquisitions is broad and deep.
Currently, Rick is vice president of Finance and Administration for Global Fastening Solutions. He is the past president of the Cincinnati chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth and serves on the boards of the Queen City Foundation and the Ohio Valley MS Society.
He was formerly involved with the Cincinnati Regional Chamber Mid-Market Advisory Committee (member), Cincinnati Team USA (member), Jobs for Youth Chicago (board member), Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum (treasurer and trustee), Bank Administration Institute - Finance and Accounting Advisory Committee (chairman), Illinois CPA Society - Financial Executives Advisory Committee (member)
Rick earned a degree in accounting from The Ohio State University and holds a master’s degree in management from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Business.
